Balanceability is the only accredited ‘learn to cycle’ programme in the UK. It comprises of 3 levels that prepare children to leave the setting proficient on two wheeled bicycles without ever using stabilisers. The programme consists of fun games, warm up sessions and slow skill building on balance bikes before progressing to pedal bikes. Children who learn to cycle early are better placed for leading an active lifestyle later on in life. All our practitioners are qualified Balanceability Instructors.
Our Balanceability sessions currently run on Tuesdays at 3:15pm, during the After School Club and on Thursdays at 1:30pm during the afternoon session. There is no additional cost for these.
The sessions will change termly to ensure different children have an opportunity to take part however they are unlikely to be during the morning sessions due to the younger age range and busier nature of the sessions.
