Our staff & setting

All our permanent staff who work with children hold a current and relevant First Aid Paediatric certificate. Several staff have attended basic Makaton training and can communicate using sign language. Staff also attend a multitude of professional development training and conferences to continue improving practice. This includes county and independent training providers.

Jade has fond memories of our Pre-school as she attended as a child herself. She now has many years experience in Early Years and especially enjoys creative and messy play and extends her love of this in all areas of learning.

We have been enjoying Jade’s new ideas for the Pre-school in her role as Manager and her dedicated communication with parents to help children settle, grow and their transition to big school.

Lucy has a gentle nature and natural empathy for children, which seems to attract them to her almost immediately! She is wonderful at arts and crafts and has the patience of a saint, which is perfect for our setting. Lucy also attended the Pre-School as a toddler!
